VLC

"VLC media player is a highly portable multimedia player for various audio and video formats (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, mp3, ogg, ...) as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols. It can also be used as a server to stream in unicast or multicast in IPv4 or IPv6 on a high-bandwidth network." Says the VLC website.

VLC is my favorite media player on both Windows and Linux. It plays any multimedia you can throw at it. It has an alright user interface. It has over 96 million downloads. If you are looking for a player that can do it all, VLC is definately worth a try. Check it out at videolan.org/vlc/.

Here it is running in Xp.
